Mission Statement

Five years from now, DJMS will be a high achieving, award winning middle school that provides a high quality education, rich with technology and collaborative learning opportunities guiding students to become highly successful, responsible young adults ready for high school and beyond.

Delphos Jefferson Middle School seeks to shape students by design:

DJMS staff sees opportunities for each and every student to grow. Staff members are attuned to the whole child; motivating each student to reach their full potential, promoting ideology for lifelong learning and future success, promoting a healthy lifestyle, providing leadership opportunities, and supporting parents in their child’s education

DJMS students are encouraged to make the most of the opportunities afforded them. The SWAG Group - Students(and Staff) Who Advocate for Greatness, consists of students that have embodied what is means to be a Wildcat. Our athletic and quiz bowl coaches provide support on the floor, in the classroom, and beyond. New class offerings are available this year: Creative Writing, Science Inquiry and Application, Current Events, and Drama. Through our Life Skills class offering, our 7th and 8th graders are busy exploring careers and planning for a safe and healthy future. We continue to search for ways for our students to develop 21st Century skills that will prepare students for further education and careers. Our FCCLA students create a safer and more caring school and community through service hours and dedication.

Delphos Jefferson Middle School is thankful for the opportunity to educate the students we have a chance to see in our building everyday. I would like to thank the parents that have entrusted the education and formation of their child(ren) to the school and my staff members. I welcome new students and if you wish to see what we have to offer, please call the office for registration or feel free to stop in for a visit.

Go Wildcats!

Mr. Brian Fruchey
