DELPHOS CITY SCHOOLS
Welcome to the Delphos City Schools located in Allen and Van Wert Counties. Delphos is a classic small town in NW Ohio with an excellent economic base highlighted by manufacturing, heath care, retail trade and agriculture. In the early years Delphos was a major port on the Miami and Erie Canal and key railroad hub. The city has three buildings listed on the National Register of Historic Places: The Marks-Family House, St. Johns's Catholic Church, and Bredeick-Lang House.
Delphos Jefferson High School, Jefferson Middle School, Franklin Elementary and Delphos Jefferson Pre-School; make up the district. Franklin Elementary (K-4) has been a blue ribbon school and the Pre-School is 5-Star on the Step Up to Quality Scale. Jefferson Middle School (5-8) boasts excellence in STEM Education (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) and outstanding vocal/instrumental music programs. Jefferson High School maintains an excellent Future Farmers (FFA) program, has a proud Marching Band, excellent STEM programs and terrific Multi-Media opportunites. The Delphos City Schools also share services with Delphos St. John's parochial schools in many areas. Delphos students can attend Vantage Career Center in Van Wert for Career Technical opportunites during their Junior and Senior years.
The Red and White Wildcats of Delphos Jefferson are proud members of the Northwest Conference. We happily welcome you to visit any of our campuses to see our fantastic educational opportunites. If I can be of service or answer and questions, please feel free to reach out.
